Reflection of 2022

Hello bloggers!

The event that I remembered the most at my school was cross country because it was the hardest of all because. We had to run around the hole school two times and the funny thing is I came in second place so maybe that is why that I can’t forget about. It and the thing that I enjoyed the most was to run run run and to complete the race in second place! and the best subject that I have improved on is writing because I had good hand writing people say so I write in my spare time a lot and the reason that I write a lot is because old school you had to write on paper not on computer so that is why that the subject that I have improved on is writing!

some friendships that I have made is a lot because I moved form Thailand to NZ and that means I had to change school  so I have made a lot of friendships in the two. Years that I have been here in NZ and it is nearly 2023 so basally three years? Some of the schools roles are compost AV room… and when I joined compost it was sort of fun but stressful because we only had five minutes to do it so that is annoying

Parihaka

Hello bloggers

Parihaka is a Maori Remembrance Day and it involved using no violence in the protecting of their land and it started 143 years from 2022 and the Maori . government that made a non violent protests across the city. Showing that they did not want to fight and the official colour of. Parihaka. Day is white because it’s a sign of peace and that shows that 143 years form 2022 there was no violent acts and to think that 143 years ago they did not have was that often but in 2022 there are a lot of wars. They also didn’t want the trees to get cut down also the used to hug the trees and that is a fact. Also it started in Taranaki a place in New Zealand in the North Island.

Earthquakes

Earthquakes are caused by the tectonic plates shifting under our feet and it. Happens all the time and the thing that measures the earthquakes is called a Richter scale and  a earthquake also cause a tsunami.

But they are very small so you can not feel it! The biggest earthquake happened in 1960.

Tsunamis can destroy cities and oceans. All of the teachers at my school have shared a site that you can go to and see the earthquakes and after shocks and there are over 100 earthquakes added every 1 minute. There are approximately millions of earthquakes every year. A 2.8 magnitude earthquake happens all the time, like every single minute.

Blog you later!

4/5 muriwai beach trip

Hi, I am Cris.

I am going to tell you about the time that me and my friends went to Muriwai beach.

We went to the Muriwai Surf Club, this is where me and my friends stayed for the day. We went in car’s and it was a 45 mins drive to the beach. We had lifeguards  Val and Reese teaching us about rips and First Aid and it was interesting. Then after lunch we went swimming at the beach. We went boogie boarding, then a big wave hit me! It was raining so hard on the way to the beach from the club and it was freezing like a fridge. The rain was so hard it hurt everyone. I was so happy and at the end of the day we were all happy.
